You don’t have to carry this alone

Someone who understands your world will walk with you—right where you are.

PRIVATE. VOLUNTARY. NO PRESSURE.

You don’t need the right words. Just take the first step.

Here's what happens when you take that first step.

Reach Out

You don’t have to have the right words. Just take the first step—we’ll meet you there.

How it works

No pressure. Just a place to start.

It's simpler. No pressure.  Just a conversation that turns into something more.

Connect

Someone will reach out to listen — not fix — just a real conversation.

Walk Together

We’ll walk with you at your pace—for as long as you need to find steady ground.

Before you decide, here's exactly what this is --- and what it's not.

What this is  &  What this is not

This is not…
This is…
  • Clinical therapy or a medical diagnosis
  • A formal report or recorded conversation
  • Someone trying to ‘fix’ you or tell you how to feel
  • A corporate check-the-box program
  • A safe place to process the weight of the job
  • Confidential support from someone who gets it
  • A clear path toward healing and restoration
  • A peer-to-peer conversation with no pressure

Private. Voluntary. No pressure. Just a place to start.

A Clear Path Forward

This isn't just a conversation.  It's a path.

At the center of this pathway is the GOSPEL -- the foundation of true healing and  lasting restoration.

You don’t have to understand everything right now. You just have to take the first step.

You choose the pace. No pressure.

Who are
Mat Carriers?

Mat Carriers are trained first responders and chaplains from the Metro Detroit community who understand the weight of the job—because they’ve lived it too.

Inspired by the story of friends who carried someone on a mat to find healing, they don’t show up to fix you or give you a checklist.

They show up to listen, walk with you, and help you take the next step toward healing.

They've been where you are -- and they're not walking away.

A safe place to land. A redemptive path forward.
